Melbourne’s Slick Hair Company makes $1m from $25 stick wand
When Mia Plecics business took off on TikTok during Australias lockdown due to the pandemic, she had to get rid of the couch in her Melbourne apartment to fit all the stock in her apartment.In December 2019, she launched the Slick Hair Company, selling a hair wand called the Slick Stick, which is designed to contain flyaway hairs.
It has been a runaway success with the business making $1 million in the first year.
