Actor Mel Gibson was reportedly diagnosed with coronavirus in April.The Daily Telegraph reports that the Lethal Weapon star, 64, spent a week in hospital in Los Angeles after coming down with the virus several months ago. He has since recovered.
The news comes after weeks of bad press for the controversial actor, who got his start in Australia with films like Gallipoli and Mad Max.
