Mark Ryan, QPS announce new POLAIR helicopters

Two new POLAIR helicopters will replace existing police aircraft on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, the Queensland Police Minister announced on Tuesday.

The State Government’s total investment package will fully fund POLAIR operations for an extra 10 years from July 2022.

Police Minister Mark Ryan said the funding would also ensure the two new helicopters could fly at least 2000 hours each year.
