Man suffers serious burns after car burst into flames at Munruben

A man has been taken to hospital with serious burns to his chest and face after his car burst into flames south of Brisbane this afternoon.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said critical care paramedics and the high acuity response unit were called to Munruben, Logan, shortly before 2pm after the man’s car caught fire on Mahogany Rd.
The spokesman said the car had not crashed but had possibly caught alight in a “fuel incident”.
