Man shot dead by police in Brisbane
A man who police say was armed with knives and acting aggressively has been shot and killed in a tense stand-off in Brisbane overnight.
Police were called to Surround St at Dakabin in the city’s north about midnight last night to reports of serious domestic violence.
Officer were confronted by a man in the home’s front yard. They say he made threats and claimed to be armed with multiple knives.
