Man shot by police near Brisbane
A man has been shot by police and an officer has been injured in a suburb southwest of Brisbane.
Police were called to the scene at Durack, along Blunder Rd and Inala Ave, about 12.15pm on Friday.
The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with a wound to his lower back.
An officer was injured during the incident, police said.
Surrounding roads have been closed and a crime scene has been declared.
