Man dies after being hit by car
Police are investigating the death of a man after he was hit by a car in Brisbane’s east on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Meadowlands Rd in Cardinale after reports the pedestrian had been hit by a car while crossing the road.
He suffered critical injuries and died at the scene. Emergency services were called at 6.40am.
Police have yet to determine the cause of the accident, and a spokesman said it was a “complicated incident”.
