Man charged over Highland Park shooting
A man has been charged with manslaughter following the 2019 shooting death of a woman at a home on the Gold Coast.
Ivona Jovanovic, 27, was shot at a Highland Park abode in Renfrew Ave about 8.30pm on September 8, 2019 and later died at Gold Coast University Hospital.
A 28-year-old man, a resident of the address at the time, was arrested on Thursday and has been charged with manslaughter.
He has also been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
