Loophole leaves families of killed food delivery riders without compensation

When Xiaojun Chen was killed at work in September, it crippled his devastated family financially as well as emotionally.The 43-year-old Hungry Panda delivery rider was hit by a bus in Zetland on September 29, leaving his widow Lihong Wei and the couple’s eight-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter, who are based in China, without an income.
Ms Wei told news.com.au via a translated statement that she was struggling to cope without her beloved husband.
