NRL player Latrell Mitchell pleads guilty to gun charge

Rugby league star Latrell Mitchell has pleaded guilty to giving a firearm to an unlicensed person after a weekend away that left him saddled with a COVID-19 breach, a hefty fine from the NRL and a court date.The 23-year-old Rabbitohs fullback was charged after a now-infamous Anzac Day weekend camping trip to his property at Caffreys Flat, near Taree, NSW, where he was joined by fellow NRL players Josh Addo-Carr and Tyrone Roberts-Davis.
