Kylie Minogue makes UK history with latest number one record – overtaking Elton John
Australias pop princess Kylie Minogue has danced her way into the number one spot on the UK charts, breaking records set by the likes of Elton John and George Michael.Minogue, who claimed this week’s Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart with her new collection ‘DISCO’, is now the first female artist to have a number one album in the UK in five different decades.
The 52-year-old singer topped the album charts on Friday, taking to social media to announce the news and to thank fans for their support.
