jury out in Qld murder trial

A jury has begun deliberating at the trial of four men accused of murdering a Brisbane man and woman found dead in a submerged toolbox.
Stou Daniels, Trent Michael Thrupp, Davy Malu Junior Taiao and Waylon Ngaketo Cowan Walker pleaded not guilty to the murders of Cory Breton and Iuliana Triscaru in January 2016.
The pair’s decomposing bodies were found in a submerged toolbox in Scrubby Creek, south of Brisbane, several weeks after they were reported missing.
Daniels, Thrupp and Taiao also pleaded not guilty to two counts of torture.
