The beleaguered former parent company of learn-to-swim school Jump! Swim Schools has been fined $23m and its founder Ian Campbell hit with almost $1m in penalties and banned from starting a business following a Federal Court ruling.The ACCC prosecuted Jump Loops Pty Ltd, which is in liquidation and the former parent company of Jump! Swim Schools, for falsely telling 174 franchisees that they would have an operational swim school within 12 months of signing a franchise agreement.
