JetBlue passenger fined $13K for blowing nose in blanket

A man who blew his nose into a blanket is among the passengers who are facing thousands of dollars in fines amid a surge in bad flight behaviour during the COVID pandemic in the United States. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says it is issuing civil penalties to airline passengers for allegedly disobeying “cabin crew instructions” and disregarding “various federal regulations” such as wearing a face mask.
