Intruder found eating roast lamb after breaking into Alice Springs home

Northern Territory Police have warned residents to lock their doors these holidays after a homeowner in Alice Springs busted an intruder eating roast lamb in his kitchen.Police were called to two separate residential break-ins overnight, with the first involving an intruder gaining entry to a property in the suburb of Gillen at about 1am.
Southern Watch Commander Adrian Kidney said the homeowner found the intruder, who entered through a rear window, having a midnight snack.
