Gladys Berejiklian has taken another swipe at Queensland counterpart Annastacia Palaszczuk and her government over their refusal to pay a $30 million bill owed to NSW for returned travellers in hotel quarantine.

Most of Australia’s overseas arrivals during the pandemic have been quarantined in Sydney.

The NSW government initially stumps up the money for the room and bills the traveller’s home state, which is then responsible for getting the money from the traveller.
