Hot shower triggers man’s deadly allergic reaction to cold

Weve all heard of being allergic to peanuts or shellfish, but did you know it was possible to be allergic to the cold?A report published by The Journal of Emergency Medicine last week detailed how a man in the United States went into anaphylactic shock after having a hot shower.
His family discovered the 34-year-old collapsed on the floor after stepping out of the shower into cold air covered in hives and in acute respiratory distress.
