Homicide evidence in wheelie bins

Nike running shoes, a cooler bag and a pair of earphones may have been discarded across two suburbs following an alleged murder in Brisbane’s east, police say.
A man, 45, was found dead around midday on Wednesday at a residence in Ronald Street, Wynnum, some 15km east of the CBD.
On Saturday, police charged a 24-year-old Mount Gravatt man with his murder.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police are calling on the public to help them locate items, they claim, may have been discarded after Wednesday.
