Hilary Duff confirms cancellation of fan favourite show
Hilary Duff has confirmed the highly anticipated Lizzie McGuire reboot on Disney+ has been cancelled.In a post written to her fans on Instagram, the actress explained that “despite everyone’s best efforts, it isn’t going to happen”.
The reboot was first announced at Disney’s D23 Expo in August 2019, where Duff made an appearance.
At the time she wrote on Instagram: “I am beyond excited to be home again, back with my girl… and into her 30’s.”
