Heavy rain, flash flooding forecast

Residents in Queensland’s southeast are being warned to stay inside with heavy rain, which may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding, expected to lash the region on Sunday.
A severe weather warning is in place along the coast from Stradbroke to Bribie Islands, Caloundra and north to Seventeen Seventy.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast intense rainfall, which may lead to flash flooding, over areas between Seventeen Seventy, Gympie and Bribie Island on Sunday night and into Monday.
