Heatwave in Melbourne, Victoria, cool change in Perth
After a miserable and gloomy start to the year a heatwave is about to hit Victoria.
Families and holiday-makers will be able to bask in some much-needed summer sun from the weekend as the temperature heats up across the state.
But it could get uncomfortably warm, with temperatures expected to spike to a top of 41C in the northwest of the state and 37C in Melbourne on Monday.
