Head of domestic violence taskforce says police review recommended
The head of a taskforce into domestic and family violence has recommended an independent examination into the way police responded to concerns raised by mother of three Kelly Wilkinson before her death.
Ms Wilkinson’s estranged husband has been charged with murder following her death on April 20.
Ms Wilkinson’s family claimed they took Kelly, 27, to police “almost every day” to raise concerns about her ex-husband Brian Earl Johnston, 34, in the weeks before her death.
