Gold Coast woman’s shooting still a mystery as cops turn the heat up

More than a year after she was allegedly shot and left for dead, the death of Gold Coast woman Ivona Jovanovic is still a mystery.
Ms Jovanovic, 27, was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital on September 8 last year after she was shot in a Highland Park home owned by the mother of her ex-boyfriend, Christos Panagakos. She died a short time later.
Almost 15 months on, police are still searching for answers. No-one has been charged over her death.
Detectives remain uncertain as to how the shooting occurred, and have previously indicated…
