Gold Coast Superintendent Michelle Stenner to stand trial in February 2021 over perjury allegations
A top Gold Coast cop embroiled in a police nepotism scandal will stand trial in 2021.
Supt Michelle Stenner is facing three counts of perjury over allegations she lied under oath to Queensland’s corruption watchdog.
In the Brisbane District Court on Wednesday, her trial date was set down for five days from February 22, 2021.
High-profile defence barrister Jeffrey Hunter QC will represent Stenner, who has previously pleaded not guilty to the offences.
