Gold Coast mum charged after baby allegedly ingested ice
A 12-month-old baby was left fighting for life in hospital after he consumed a “significant” amount of the drug ice in Queensland, police say.
The child’s mother, aged 20, has now been charged after a month-long investigation into the alleged incident, which occurred on the Gold Coast on November 6.
Police allege the woman visited a unit on Hamilton Ave in Surfers Paradise with her young son that day.
