Furniture retailer Nick Scali pays back JobKeeper, pocketed while raking in record profits

High-end furniture retailer Nick Scali has handed back million of dollars in wage subsidies after sparking a furore by revealing how much JobKeeper it pocketed while enjoying huge first half profit growth.The company last week reported a 99.5 per cent surge in underlying net profit for the six months ended December 31, describing it as an “exceptional” trading period.
