Furious netball stars slam Ricky Stuart over demeaning insult
Furious netball players and figures says Ricky Stuart should be embarrassed after the Canberra Raiders coach suggested NRL mentors might as well be coaching netball if they cant have tough conversations with their players.Stuart’s comments, which came to light this week, have infuriated Sophie Garbin and her NSW Swifts teammates, while new Netball Australia board chair Marina Go suggested the coach would be “embarrassed” on reflection.
Diamonds shooter Garbin called Stuart’s view disrespectful.
