Fraser Island bushfire review ordered as residents prepare to flee

Residents have again been put on notice to evacuate Fraser Island with a bushfire raging out of control, as the Queensland Premier announced a review of the island’s management.
Firebombing continues across the heritage-listed island, some 250km north east of Brisbane, where some residents have fled while others are on ‘watch and act’ or a ‘prepare to leave’ warning.
