Four consecutive World Surf League events in Australia is the perfect launching pad for an Olympic Games assault in Tokyo in July according to two-time world champion John John Florence. The superstar Hawaiian, is among the swell of the world’s best male and female surfers competing in the first ever Rip Curl Newcastle Cup, which starts on Thursday, including Australia’s own world number one Tyler Wright.
