Former Qld Law Society president Bill Potts says teen law review must be non-emotional
Any debate about whether juveniles behind the wheel should be tried as adults, following the deaths of two pedestrians, needs to be “non-emotional”, says one of Queensland’s most eminent barristers.
Kate Leadbetter, 31, and Matty Field, 37, died after being struck by a vehicle, allegedly driven by a 17-year-old boy, as they crossed at a set of traffic lights in Alexandra Hills on Tuesday.
