Footy broadcast scrapped because of AFLW conflict

The AFL has decided not to broadcast Saturday afternoons practice match between the Gold Coast Suns and Brisbane Lions due to a conflict with the AFLW.The two Queensland-based clubs are scheduled to face off at Metricon Stadium at 4pm AEDT in preparation for the AAMI Community Series, which kicks off on Thursday, March 4th.
But because it conflicts with live coverage of the women’s competition, footy fans will not be able to attend or watch the Suns vs Lions clash.
