Five men arrested after excavator found with 450kg drugs inside

An excavator shipped from England to Brisbane with almost 450kg of MDMA hidden inside has led to the arrest of five men after a joint Australia and UK investigation.
The excavator arrived in Brisbane from Southampton in March and Australian Border Force officers conducted an X-ray of the machine which revealed anomalies within its arm.
Australian Federal Police forensic officers removed 226 plastic bags of MDMA, weighing 448kg, with an estimated street value of $79m.
