Five dead in Qld road crashes
Five people were killed in three separate accidents on Queensland roads on Sunday, bringing the weekend’s road toll to nine.
Two men in their 20s died in Bracalba, west of Caboolture, after their vehicle collided with two utes travelling in the opposite direction about 3.45pm.
The driver of the car, 20, and a 22-year-old passenger died at the scene. The three men in the utilities were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
About an hour later in Kinkuna, near Bundaberg, two cars collided, entrapping five people.
