A doctor working at Princess Alexandra Hospital on Brisbane’s southside is now in isolation after contracting COVID-19.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The doctor acquired the potentially deadly virus after coming into contact with two COVID patients at the Princess Alexandra Hospital on Wednesday, March 10. She started experiencing symptoms on Thursday evening and then got tested on Friday morning, with the positive result coming back on Friday evening.
