An elderly man has died in hospital after he f
ell onto a slow-moving car at a McDonalds drive-through in Adelaides inner south. The 89-year-old man from Kingswood slipped on the kerb before hitting his head on the Toyota sedan that was exiting the drive-through of the South Rd restaurant at Melrose Park at about midday on Wednesday.
The man was taken to Flinders Medical Centre with minor injuries but died late Thursday morning.
SA Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
