Dreamworld owners say snap Brisbane lockdown hurt performance over Easter

The owner of Queensland’s famous Dreamworld theme park says the recent snap lockdown in Brisbane due to a coronavirus cluster has set back its recovery.
In an update on Wednesday, Ardent Leisure revealed Greater Brisbane’s sharp lockdown coinciding with Easter school holidays “challenged” trading conditions for the embattled theme park, which spent most of 2020 non-operational.
Uncertainty over the Queensland border remaining open impacted numbers from interstate travellers, the company said.
