Dreamworld boss resigns amid update revealing the recent Brisbane lockdown dented the park’s performance
The top boss of Dreamworlds shock resignation has coincided with a trading update detailing the Queensland icon is still being financially battered by the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement lodged to the Australian Stock Exchange on Wednesday morning, John Osborne announced he would step down as the chief executive of Ardent Leisure’s theme park business for personal reasons.
Ardent Leisure is the parent company that owns Dreamworld and the Q1 Skypoint observation deck on the Gold Coast.
