Croc attacks man in Far North Qld
A man is recovering in hospital following a croc attack off the coast of Far North Queensland on Wednesday.
It is understood the 33-year-old man was snorkelling about 4pm in Anchor Bay – offshore from the Lizard Island resort, north of Cairns.
The man was bitten on the head and neck by an estuarine crocodile.
He was treated at the scene before being flown to Cairns Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
He is currently in a stable condition.
