Former Australian Test captain Barry Jarman dies aged 84
Former Australian Test captain and South Australian cricket icon Barry Jarman has passed away, aged 84.Jarman played 19 Test matches for Australia after making his international debut in 1959. The wicketkeeper claimed 50 catches and four stumpings at Test level, also managing two half centuries with the bat.
Jarman was the 33rd Australian to captain his country in Test cricket. He was awarded the honour for one match during the 1968 Ashes tour when regular skipper Bill Lawry was unavailable due…
