COVID Qld: Traces of coronavirus found in Brisbane sewerage

Queensland Health has issued a fresh alert for residents of several suburbs in Brisbane to come forward and get tested after traces of COVID-19 were discovered in wastewater testing. Fragments of coronavirus has been found in the Luggage Point and Victoria Point wastewater treatment plants.
Queensland chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young said the results meant it was crucial that residents in these areas who had any kind of COVID-19 symptoms come forward for testing.
