Coronavirus Victoria: Melbourne mates fined $5000 for Macca’s run
Three people have been hit with hefty fines totalling nearly $5000 after they were caught on a Maccas run, breaking Victorias COVID-19 restrictions. The trio were getting food from the fast food outlet when caught by Victoria Police on Monday. It was found that they all live at different addresses, but told officers they’d been “hanging out at someone’s house and were going to McDonald’s to get food”.
