A frightening number of counties have been labelled as sustained COVID hot spots by the White House as the US suffered its second deadliest day of the pandemic this week.The rising death toll came as Pfizer announced yesterday that it had agreed to dispatch 100 million extra doses of its vaccine to the US after striking a new deal, The Sun reported.
