Coronavirus testing centres face long queues as Queensland COVID-19 cases rise

Queenslanders are turning up by the thousands to get tested for coronavirus after health authorities warned the state could be on the verge of an outbreak of community transmission.Fears were sparked last week after an employee at the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre continued to work for five shifts while infectious. There are now 10 cases linked to the centre – five staff and five detainees.
