Coronavirus NSW: Warning that virus streak could soon come to end
It has been 12 days since NSW had a case of community transmission, but residents have been told the virus-free streak could soon end.Health officials issued the warning while providing Friday’s virus figures, which featured three infections in hotel quarantine.
But people have been told not to become complacent.
“We have previously seen successive days of no local cases, only to see cases re-emerge,” the department said.
