Usually people who become infamous overnight (i.e. viral for the wrong reasons) lay low until everything dies down.But not so for “Karen from Brighton”, a Melbourne mum who was caught leaving her suburb to walk with a friend at The Tan in Melbourne’s CBD.
She justified her actions to Channel 9 reporters by saying she’d “walked all of Brighton” and was “sick of walking the same streets”.
Twitter had a field day with her comments and she soon gained notoriety on the internet.
