Cops shut down rave party at a Queensland national park
About 300 people have been busted partying at a rave in a Far North Queensland national park, prompting police to shut down the event amid coronavirus concerns.
It is believed to have been a two-day camping dance music festival.
Police attended the bushland area, near the indigenous community of Mona Mona, west of Kuranda, about 10pm on Friday and seized musical equipment, but did not make any arrests.
It is understood police are investigating possible COVID-19 breaches.
