Consumer watchdog launches court action over crane company’s alleged ‘cartel conduct’
Australias consumer watchdog has taken a north Queensland crane company to court over allegations of cartel conduct for business in Brisbane and Newcastle.Mackay-based overhead crane company NQCranes Pty Ltd faces maximum fines of up to $10m if the court finds it has contravened the Competition and Consumer Act.
Civil proceedings were launched on Monday in the Federal Court.
