Commodore part of investigation after Mackay tragedy
A white Commodore station wagon is at the centre of a police investigation after a woman died near Mackay last night.
Paramedics rushed to Eimeo Rd, Rural View, at 7.20pm after reports a car had struck the 33-year-old. She was treated but died a short time later.
Police believe she came from the white car that was parked on the side of the road. Those inside the Commodore are believed to have witnessed the accident, including children.
