Tragedy hit the American college football community this weekend as a star running back was found dead in whats being called an accidental shooting.Utah freshman Ty Jordan, the PAC-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year, died of a gunshot wound back home in Texas, ABC 4 in Utah reported.
A preliminary investigation by the Denton Police Department indicated that Jordan shot himself, while KUTV journalist Josh Edmonds reported that the gun went off accidentally.
