Climate protest to cause traffic chaos in Brisbane

Motorists have been warned to avoid the CBD late Thursday afternoon with hundreds of serial protesters expected to block multiple intersections in the heart of Brisbane.
After causing morning peak hour chaos on Monday, climate activists Extinction Rebellion are planning another disruptive gathering.
The group will meet at Post Office Square at 4pm and then “block roads across multiple CBD locations”, they said in a statement.
